Position Summary

The Products and Service Manager for Outdoor Lighting plays a key role in driving growth and expanding reputed company’s lighting-as-a-service offerings across municipal, commercial, and developer markets. This position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing long-term customer relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives that align with reputed company’s broader goals for sustainable infrastructure and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales acumen with technical understanding of outdoor lighting systems and an ability to collaborate cross-functionally reputed company a matrixed utility environment.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with municipalities, developers, architects, and city officials to identify opportunities and tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Opportunity Management: reputed company the full sales cycle — from prospecting and proposal development to contract execution — ensuring timely follow-up and professional communication throughout.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, construction, and operations teams to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to annual business plans, sales forecasts, and territory performance reviews to support overall growth objectives.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and reputed company improvement efforts.
  • Pipeline Development: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities in CRM, ensuring accuracy and transparency for leadership reporting.

Basic/Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing or other reputed company degree
  • In addition to required degree, minimum two (2) years relevant work experience
  • In lieu of bachelor's degree, High School/GED and minimum nine (9) years work experience.

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including communications skills, presentation skills, conflict resolution and management skills, excellent leadership skills and good facilitation skills at reputed company levels, both internally and externally to reputed company

Working Conditions

  • This position requires frequent travel reputed company the assigned territory to visit existing customers, meet with potential new clients, and conduct site visits for outdoor lighting projects.
  • Normal office environment with some travel, including overnight travel and site visits.
  • Long periods of sitting and extended use of computer and telephone/cell phone or other PDA device.  
  • Some positions may be on call 24/7 as normal work dictates; reputed company positions are on call 24/7 during storm
  • Virtual - Work will be performed from a remote location after the onboarding period. However, virtual employees should live reputed company a reasonable commute to a reputed company facility
