[Remote] Cybersecurity Engineer

The Cybersecurity Engineer I will design, reputed company, manage, and support secure infrastructure leveraging cloud platform reputed company technology to protect data and mitigate reputed company risks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with relevant teams to manage and update rules and signatures (e.g., intrusion detection/protection systems, antivirus, and content blacklists) for specialized cyber defense applications
• Manage and configure cyber defense tools including SIEM, Scanners, AV, etc. Assist in the development and maintenance of reputed company documentation and reputed company Playbooks
• Participate in IT projects providing reputed company architecture and reputed company controls integration requirements support
• Respond to crises or urgent situations to mitigate immediate and potential threats or IT issues. Track and document steps taken from initial detection through final resolution
• Assist with investigations of suspected cases of improper activity, coordinates reporting and recommends corrective steps
• Respond to reputed company-reputed company incidents and service requests reputed company allotted service level agreement time
• Manage and maintain, tune, and optimize the Web Application Firewalls (WAFs)
• Manage and maintain API Management Services
• Participate in IT projects providing Cybersecurity Engineering and reputed company controls integration requirements
• Follow Change Management processes and present change details in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, as necessary. Work with the CAB to establish pre-approved changes as required
• Improves process efficiency by crafting and implementing creative and balanced changes to existing deployment methodologies
• Maintain detailed documentation of reputed company incidents, assessments, and procedures
• Work closely with functional-area architects, engineering, and Cybersecurity analysts throughout the company to ensure adequate reputed company solutions and controls are in reputed company throughout reputed company IT systems, cloud systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements

Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in reputed company
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Strong familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and cloud provider ecosystems like Azure
• Knowledge of reputed company principles, techniques, and technologies
• Familiarity with reputed company tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA reputed company+, Certified Information Systems reputed company Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a reputed company field
