[Remote] Researcher Intern (Vision and Graphics)- 2026 Start (PhD)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company, the parent company of TikTok, is seeking Research Interns in the area of computer vision and machine learning. This internship offers reputed company the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while gaining industry exposure and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Build new features that touch hundreds of millions of people around the world
• Solve unique, large-scale, highly reputed company technical problems
• Build the reputed company monetization platform to help millions of customers grow their businesses
• Work with your mentor to deliver product features and reputed company engineering improvements
• Build world-class web applications that combine usability, accessibility, elegance, performance, and maintainability
• Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision, machine learning and other reputed company fields
• Work with Research Scientists to deliver advanced technologies to TikTok products

Skills

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a reputed company technical discipline
• Strong track record of research in one or more areas of computer vision, computer graphics and machine learning, preferring candidates with publications in top-tier venues such as SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR
• Highly competent in algorithms and programming
• Work and collaborate well with team members
• Ability to work independently
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
• Graduating December 2026 onwards with the reputed company to return to degree program after the completion of the internship
• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
