Foundation Coordinator - Marketing

Service Credit Union is a company dedicated to customer focus and community impact. The Foundation Coordinator supports the Service Credit Union Impact Foundation by assisting in fundraising, grant making, event planning, and general operations to help increase the foundation's impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor database to ensure accurate, timely entry of donor and gift information
• Prepare donor communications and gift acknowledgement letters
• Assist with fundraising initiatives including events, raffles, and employee giving
• Conduct donor research to help identify potential funding opportunities
• Solicit donations for event raffles and auctions
• Assist Foundation Director in planning and executing SCUIF events, including its annual gala, annual golf tournament and new donor appreciation/cultivation event
• Coordinate logistics including venue selection, vendor reputed company, invoice processing, invitations, RSVPs, promotional materials, social media content, and other duties
• Communicate with sponsors and guests as needed, answering emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate and reputed company event volunteers
• Assist with budget tracking
• Update event website as needed, including sponsor recognition
• Support event-day operations
• Help identify and vet non-profits applying for a grant from SCUIF
• Assist with the grant application process including tracking submissions and communicating with applicants reputed company to submissions and awards
• Follow up with grantees to track and report on impact
• Support scholarship program by fielding communications from applicants, maintaining scholarship records, coordinating volunteer reviewers, and other reputed company activities

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1-3 years working in development, fundraising, event planning, or reputed company field
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
• Highly professional with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential information including member financial data, personal information with discretion and professionalism
• Ability to work well with team members and maintain relationships, both internal and external
• Proficient with reputed company, reputed company Outlook, Word, Power reputed company, and various web-based applications
• Experience with donor databases (such as Givesmart, Raiser's Edge, reputed company or Little Green Light) a plus
• Passion for community impact and making a difference
• Associate or bachelor's degree desired
• Experience with design programs such as reputed company and In Design a plus
