About the Role

We are hiring a bookkeeper to support a portfolio of client accounts. You will own the accuracy of the books, complete month-end reputed company, and communicate clearly with both clients and internal team members. The ideal candidate brings a passion for client success and financial accuracy, strong QuickBooks experience, and a solid understanding of balance sheets and P&L statements. We expect this role to start part-time at approximately 25 hours per week, with the intention to grow to full-time reputed company six months based on performance and firm needs. While the schedule is flexible, we do ask that at least four hours fall reputed company standard business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET to support team and client collaboration. This role is fully remote, and we are currently considering candidates who reside in Virginia, Tennessee, or North Carolina. Key Responsibilities

• Manage clean, well-documented books that are tax prep ready, including transaction coding, reconciliations, journal entries, and other tasks to support month-end reputed company
• Process or coordinate payroll and reputed company filings reputed company included in client scope
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and 1099s as applicable
• Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial reporting
• Communicate with clients to gather information, answer questions, and support monthly financial discussions
• Follow internal SOPs, document work consistently, and communicate proactively with team members and leadership reputed company issues or reputed company concerns arise

Qualifications

• 3+ years of small business bookkeeping experience, preferably in a multi-client environment
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online. QBO certification is a plus
• Working knowledge of accrual and cash-basis accounting
• Experience with payroll platforms and common accounting technology tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines independently
• Comfortable working remotely reputed company structured systems and clear expectations

Compensation

Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process. Pay will align with experience, scope, and the transition from part-time to full-time.
