Tax Assurance Associate

TKR Accountants & Advisors is an independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm specializing in accounting and consulting services. They are seeking a Tax Assurance Associate to provide tax and consulting services, prepare tax returns, and assist with financial reporting and assurance engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax and consulting services such as preparing federal and state tax returns
• Researching relevant tax issues
• Communicating their impact on clients’ businesses
• Preparing year-end tax projections
• Learning to reputed company and deliver tax planning strategies
• Provide services reputed company to planning assurance engagements
• Preparing financial statements
• Conducting testing procedures
• Identifying and assisting in the resolution of client issues
• Other financial reporting matters

Skills

• BS or MS in Accounting
• Solid academic performance and achievement in relevant areas of study
• Technical accounting knowledge
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in reputed company Office applications
• Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently
• Effective time management skills
• Relevant internship or work experience is helpful, but not required
