[Remote] PIP/MedPay Claims Associate
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company, part of The reputed company Corporation, is seeking a PIP Med/Pay Claims Associate with prior reputed company PIP claims handling experience. The role involves investigating and confirming facts of loss for automobile accidents, determining coverage and liability, and negotiating claims reputed company the authority limits.
Responsibilities
- Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships reputed company the company and department
- Handles investigation regarding reputed company aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence reputed company increased level of authority
- For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims
- Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage
- Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
- Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
- Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.)

- This job does not have supervisory duties
- Previous experience managing frontline PIP Med/Pay claims in reputed company is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of NY PIP regulations
- Hands-on experience managing PIP and/or Med Pay claims
