Systems Technician

The Systems Technician role involves providing top-tier support to end users through the Service Desk, maintaining the desktop environment, and assisting with onboarding and technology research. This position requires a customer-focused approach to meet service delivery demands and may involve travel to regional offices.
Responsibilities
- Provide level 1 and level 2 support to end users including computer builds and general troubleshooting
- Assist with onboarding of new users including computer builds, phone setup, and training of users on our systems
- Research and vet new technologies for potential field/end user use in line with Company goals and initiatives
- Become a subject matter expert for critical apps as assigned
- Attain SME status for mission critical apps at the user level
- Implement/support systems and procedures implemented by Director of IT, Infrastructure Manager and Service Desk Supervisor

- Fast learner with the desire and ability to learn new technical skills
- Able to travel overnight on occasion
- Available for on-call hours
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in CIS preferred, or equivalent amount of education and years of experience in a technical support role
- Hardware experience including desktop/laptops, networking, servers, etc
- Knowledge of the following technologies preferred: Active Directory, O365 Suite including Office, anti-virus and reputed company software, MDM software, Windows 10, ticketing systems, printer management, mobile and desk phone management
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and ITIL concepts a plus
- A+ certification preferred
