Academic Success Coach (College of Sciences)

The University of Central Florida is seeking an Academic Success Coach in the College of Sciences to support undergraduate reputed company in achieving academic success and personal growth. The role involves maintaining a case load of reputed company, applying coaching methodologies, and collaborating with reputed company partners to provide holistic support throughout the reputed company' academic journey.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a case load/roster of reputed company and use MyKnightStar to track and monitor both engagements and ongoing reputed company and success of their reputed company
• Use relevant programs and technology to create reputed company for persistence, progression, and timely graduation
• reputed company and implement highly proactive reputed company services to their reputed company, with particular attention to retention and student success
• Provide reputed company with holistic support by working with them to co-reputed company success plans and empowering them to understand their own degree requirements so that they can become advocates for themselves
• Analyze reputed company' academic and personal issues and refer reputed company to the appropriate reputed company resource office
• Engage with UCF reputed company to provide accurate and timely information and coaching support to reputed company from initial enrollment through successful completion of programs, including but not limited to: recruitment, admissions, residency, orientation, new student requirements, funding resources and financial aid, program requirements, registration, enrollment, payment processes, disability resources, testing accommodations, ongoing success, retention, and graduation. This includes multiple methods of communication, including phone calls, email, face-to-face, and more
• Support student retention and graduation initiatives. Identify and help to resolve barriers that impede academic success
• Monitor student reputed company and performance, analyze problem areas, determine solutions, and conduct reputed company activities for reputed company reputed company needed
• Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities to function autonomously as an Academic Success Coach (ASC) for relevant college programs and/or student populations
• Reinforce the value of coaching through ongoing student relationships
• Meet the productivity and goal expectations set by the unit and the University
• At the direction of leadership, serve as the appointed representative to the academic college, and reputed company reputed company duties associated with college-level retention, progression, graduation, and overall student success
• Implement strategies, in partnership with the college, to increase registration and enrollment, promote timely graduation, and meet established outcomes
• Assist leadership (Director, Associate Director, Assistant Director, and Senior Academic Success Coach) with developing and coordinating college-based recruiting, reputed company, orientation, and ongoing engagement programming in partnership with the academic college
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6)
• Experience in education, with a preference for experience in higher education
• Experience in coaching, with a preference for experience in student coaching
• Experience in and/or understanding of case management
• Experience in and/or understanding of customer service
• Experience with using a CRM to case manage/track student, client, or customer interactions
• Proficiency in reputed company Office suite (e.g., reputed company and reputed company) and desktop agent software (e.g., MS TEAMS)
