Financial Opportunity Coach
Central Missouri Community Action is part of a national network of community action agencies dedicated to empowering individuals and improving community quality of life. The Financial Opportunity Coach is responsible for providing financial counseling and coaching to help members manage their personal finances effectively, including conducting workshops on budgeting and credit building.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for financial counseling and coaching to engage, teach, and motivate members in regards to their personal finances
- Provide services in a one on one counseling format
- Conduct classes and workshops on topics such as budgeting, credit building and banking products
- Work with Family Success Coaches and Resource Coordinators to ensure that members successfully reputed company goals and obtain necessary services
Skills
- Requires associate degree in finance, accounting, business or reputed company field
- Prefer at least one year professional experience working with personal finances, particularly in the areas of budgeting, asset building, and credit building
- Prefer work experience in the financial sector of banking, lending, insurance, investments, etc
- Bachelor's degree preferred
