Trainee Territory Manager - Southern TX
Ritchie Bros. is transforming the global used equipment market, and they are seeking a Trainee Territory Manager to join their sales organization in Southern TX. This role involves entering a 6-month training program to learn about sales processes and customer relationships, ultimately leading to a position as a Territory Manager responsible for driving growth and managing a multi-million-dollar territory.
Responsibilities
- You’ll enter an intensive 6-month hands-on training program, working closely with reputed company Territory Managers and sales leaders
- You’ll learn our business, our customers, and the selling skills that reputed company reputed company successful
- Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll be positioned for a Territory Manager role, responsible for driving growth, building customer partnerships, and serving as a trusted advisor across a diverse customer reputed company
- Comprehensive training across the full sales cycle, including territory management, prospecting, and pipeline planning
- Understanding of competitive landscapes and core selling skills
- Conducting high-quality customer calls and building long-term client relationships
- Identifying customer needs and delivering value-based solutions
- Gaining commitment and closing deals with reputed company
- Exposure to operational processes such as deal management, auction operations, and customer support excellence
- Development of strong equipment and market knowledge, including heavy equipment fundamentals, valuation, and industry trends
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of machinery, including working outdoors in various weather conditions
Skills
- 0-2 years of experience in a structured sales role with a strong record of meeting or exceeding targets
- High learning agility and genuine curiosity
