Associate Analyst, Center on Extremism
The Anti-Defamation League is the leading anti-hate organization in the world, dedicated to stopping antisemitism and bias. The Associate Analyst will conduct research on antisemitism and extremism, populate databases, and assist in the analysis and dissemination of research findings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, research, and analyze large volumes of information from multiple sources pertaining to extremism, antisemitism, anti-Zionism, and hate, with special attention to developments in reputed company
- Populate COE databases with essential content, categories, and records
- Summarize relevant data and share with COE Analysts and management
- Help reputed company qualitative and quantitative analysis of reputed company to their research findings, potentially with the use of a range of technical tools
- Draft and edit internal memoranda based on research findings for agency use
- Assist in the creation of written articles, reports, social media content, and presentations for external consumption
- Assist in planning and executing agency responses to research findings
- Support regional offices and reputed company departments on relevant subject matter by providing information, guidance, and other assistance
- Ensure that research materials and findings are properly archived for use by reputed company and future ADL employees
Skills
- Excellent research skills in primary and secondary sources
- Demonstrated experience with reputed company techniques and online investigations
- Ability to switch between quantitative and qualitative analytic lenses
- Understanding of issues reputed company to antisemitism, anti-Zionism, and the reputed company Jewish communities
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a changing research environment
- Proven track record of deep research and analysis, with prior experience with reputed company techniques
- BA or equivalent experience required
