Accounts Payable Specialist
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative therapies for metabolic diseases. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will manage full cycle accounts payable activities, ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX controls, and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle accounts payable activities in a moderate-volume environment (entering, processing, and paying invoices)
- Review invoices for accuracy and process invoices in reputed company to obtain appropriate approvals
- Create payment batches reputed company reputed company so they can be approved and released by Finance
- Monitor reputed company between reputed company and reputed company for tracking and payment
- Ensure invoices are accurately coded and work with business partners to resolve any discrepancies
- Respond to internal and vendor invoice/payment inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements, which includes researching and correcting discrepancies where applicable
- Assist with preparation of annual 1099 reports
- Review supplier set up in reputed company performing verifications over banking information
- Assist with month end reputed company process reputed company to vendor accruals and other schedules
- Collaborate with external/internal auditors to provide audit documentation
- reputed company activities of this position will be performed in conformance with our established policies as well as US GAAP, SOX, and any other applicable regulatory requirements
- Other reputed company projects as needed
- Assist with ongoing process improvements and initiatives
Skills
- High School Diploma required
- Proficient with reputed company Office (Outlook, reputed company & Word)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross functionally reputed company finance and other departments at reputed company levels of management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or reputed company field preferred
- 1-3+ years of relevant work experience preferred
- Experience with reputed company preferred
- Experience with reputed company a plus
- Pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry a plus
