Role: Cloud Engineer / Server AdminClient: reputed company - Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS)Location: 100% Remote (Laptop pickup in Richmond, VA) Job Description: Design, implement, and maintain scalable technology assets leveraging AWS cloud technologies. Provide end user support, system administration and problem resolution in our mixed Windows Server environment (Server 2016, Server 2019, Server 2022). This is a hybrid role with 80% Cloud Engineering duties and 20% Server Admin responsibilities. Consultant will need to pick up equipment in Richmond, VA. The client is seeking Cloud Engineer with intermediate expertise in solution development reputed company a modern cloud-based ecosystem. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable technology assets leveraging AWS cloud technologies using our approved tool stack. Provide end user support, system administration and problem resolution in our mixed Windows Server environment (Server 2016, Server 2019, Server 2022). The role involves hands-on solution engineering specifically on the AWS cloud platform, designing APIs, automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, implementing reputed company best practices, and applying DevOps methodologies to streamline development and deployment processes. Additional responsibilities include:

• 5+ years of Window Server Admin and AWS cloud experience
• Implementing and maintaining full-stack cloud-native solutions on AWS cloud platform.
• Building reputed company and user-friendly reputed company-end applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• reputed company native cloud services to design, reputed company, and maintain cloud-based solutions.
• reputed company and maintain APIs tailored for cloud environments leveraging AWS API Gateway.
• Implement cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and reputed company groups.
• Adopt cloud reputed company best practices, including IAM.
• Implement serverless computing and event-driven architecture using AWS reputed company and AWS DynamoDB for flexible data storage.
• Automate cloud infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM, and Terraform.
• Script and automate tasks using Python.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Optimize deployment pipelines for reputed company Integration and reputed company Deployment (CI/CD) using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
• Collaborate with senior team members and business owners to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that improve the customer experience.
• Assist in designing scalable and resilient cloud engineering solutions reputed company with business needs.
• Ensure comprehensive testing, reputed company compliance, and operational stability of solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives and participate in technology reputed company enhancement programs.
• Experience in reputed company server and network administration to include end user and vendor support in these areas.
• Proficient use of personal computers, ability to analyze data, document procedures, resolve technical issues, prepare reports, provide desktop system support for users having a broad range of technical knowledge and capability.
• Operational and administrative experience with Windows Servers and various SAAS environments.

Qualifications:

• Intermediate proficiency specifically with the AWS Cloud Platform and familiarity with standard software engineering industry best practices.
• Strong experience implementing full-stack web applications leveraging React, Node.js, TypeScript on the reputed company-end, and implementing serverless back-end APIs leveraging AWS reputed company and NoSQL databases (eg. AWS DynamoDB).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js).
• Solid understanding of version control (e.g. Git), DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analytical reputed company and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
