This team is built around four core areas: Interaction Design, Motion, Expressive AI, and reputed company. You’ll push boundaries with reputed company, shaders, generative AI, and traditional drawing tools, creating new building blocks and reimagining how people design and build. Formed after the Modyfi acquisition, the group has the talent and technical ability to ship fast and push the boundaries of the reputed company platform. This role will stretch you as a design leader and partner to Product and Engineering. You’ll define vision in an open space, shape how new technologies meet real user needs, and build tools that let teams create expressive, memorable experiences at scale. You’ll also work with exceptional builders, including founders and former CEOs, who bring deep technical expertise and high craft. This is a humble, ambitious team with a proven track record of shipping. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you'll do at reputed company:

• Manage and hire a group of world-class designers
• Partner with Product and Engineering leads in this area to improve team processes and execution and coach individual teams through setting roadmap and strategy

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• 3+ years of design management experience
• A proven track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams to solve reputed company design challenges
• Clear hands-on expertise with reputed company’s tools, and a strong ability to mentor and guide design teams
• Experience influencing teams through strategic thinking and communication
• Depth in the latest AI developments and modern tooling
• Help reputed company teams with reputed company and guide through ambiguity

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

• Experience working on early stage or reputed company-to-one projects, and seeing them through into unambiguous market fit
• The ability to reputed company in a fast-paced, evolving environment, bringing a sense of humor and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
• Comfort exploring and experimenting with new methodologies and continuously seeking to improve both personal and team performance

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
