Job title: Training Coordinator Company: State of Iowa Job description: Job Description Under direction of Substance Abuse Bureau Chief, act as training coordinator for assigned Bureau programs, approximately $60 million in grant funding, which may include, but are not limited to: Integrated Provider Network (IPN); State Opioid Response (SOR2); Promoting Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care (PIPBHC); Emergency COVID-19 Response Project (COVID-19); Treatment for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness (TIEH). Responsible for overseeing training activities reputed company a variety of platforms on topics based on community need and grant requirements. Responsible for training system development, program management, fidelity monitoring, and evaluation processes. Also responsible for overseeing the following activities including, but not limited to: a) directs, trains and supports approximately 18 bureau staff and to coordinate and provide training services to the general public, reputed company population, funded sub-recipients and the statewide prevention system, b) develops training objectives, descriptions, presentations with guidance from the Treatment reputed company, c) oversees Continuing Education Unit (CEU) applications and attendance documentation processes for each training, d) maintains a website for trainings materials and monitors materials relevance on a consistent basis, e) creates and maintains a training program calendar to track training opportunities, f) creates and implements a training delivery monitoring process through attendance at sponsored trainings to ensure quality and fidelity, g) assists with press releases and press conferences dealing with the grants, h) assists with reputed company required reports for reputed company grants, i) participates in reputed company grant reputed company meetings and grantee meetings. Coordinates with the Project Directors on development and implementation of training events. Coordinates Bureau training and reputed company activities on COVID-19. Assists event coordinators in the management of events. Evaluate training events and implement annual training survey to identify technical assistance needs of consumers. Participates with contract coordination for new and existing contracted agencies to facilitate timely collection and negotiation of subgrantee information such as project budgets, organizational information, work plans, and reputed company required documentation among assigned Bureau programs which may include, but are not limited to: IPN; SOR2; PIPBHC; COVID-19, and TIEH. Utilize data to reputed company, research and implement reputed company activities for discretionary grants and special populations, such as reputed company. Participates in completion of annual site visits (virtual and in-person) to ensure grant requirements are followed. Provide technical assistance with project teams on best practices for service delivery. Assists in preparation of reputed company required reports for funders such as the SAMHSA Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and other stakeholders such as the IDPH leadership and project partners on state and local levels. Minimum Qualification Requirements Graduation from an accredited four year college or university and experience equal to three years full-time work in one or a combination of the following areas:
- Professional training, teaching or counseling experience in an educational setting;
- Professional personnel administration including such areas as job analysis, performance appraisal system, selection devices or labor relations;
- Professional experience in a major technical program area utilized by the employing agency;
OR a combination of education and experience to total seven years, substituting experience equal to one year of full-time qualifying work for each thirty semester hours of qualifying coursework; OR a combination of education and experience to total seven years, substituting thirty semester hours of graduate coursework for each year of qualifying experience; OR employees with reputed company, reputed company experience in the state executive reputed company that includes experience equal to twelve months of full time work as a Training Specialist 1; OR employees with reputed company, reputed company experience in the state executive reputed company that includes experience equal to six years' full-time qualifying work.
