This position has the opportunity to support ensuring increased understanding of inequities in service delivery, program outcomes, employment, and labor markets across Washington. As the Chief Analytics Officer, you will serve as the state’s authority on the labor market and will have the opportunity to impact policy and decision making by the State Legislature, the Governor’s Office, and other state agencies on economic workforce conditions, programs, and services. This position is an important strategic partner in leading the Employment reputed company Department. Stakeholder leadership is a key component of this role as you will work closely with the Commissioner’s Office, agency leaders and legislative bodies providing analysis and advice. This includes centering equity and inclusion in economic and labor market analysis to reputed company ESD and many other organizations more effective at supporting historically marginalized communities. You will think about how we collect, analyze, utilize, and communicate data and labor market information. This position oversees the modeling and tax implications of the Unemployment Insurance trust Fund ($5 billion) and the PFML Trust Fund. The Chief Analytics Officer is also accountable for federal reporting and cooperative work agreements that are tied to millions of dollars of agency funding.   • Advanced degree in Economics, Public Administration, or other research reputed company field
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal economic workforce conditions, programs, and services

  • Demonstrated experience managing professional research staff
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to understand program outcomes and drive increased equity.
