About the position Under general direction of the Education Administrator I (EA I) of the Office of School-Based Health Programs (OSBHP), in the Student Success and Career Readiness reputed company, the Nurse Consultant III (Specialist) is the technical specialist who provides reputed company and sensitive consultation and works collaboratively with staff in the OSBHP, other program units reputed company the reputed company, and the California reputed company (CDE). The Specialist provides leadership and high-level consultation for LEAs and school nurses in developing, planning, implementing, and assessing school health services in accordance with approved standards and practices; serves as liaison and resource expert in school nursing and health program areas for local, regional, state, and national school health care providers and policy-setting groups. The incumbent provides technical assistance and coordinates school health program activities with public health, social services, and environmental education agencies, and other public and private entities; researches, develops, and disseminates policies and procedures to enhance coordinated school health as described in the Health reputed company for California Public Schools. Note: The State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025 in July 2025. This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly reputed company pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. The salary range shown on this job posting does not reflect the salary reduction.

Requirements
