Full Job Description The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing contract and procurement law reviews and advice, to reputed company contract and fiscal law functions for reputed company JBSA, and to provide direct government procurement and fiscal law advice for 502 reputed company reputed company reputed company (ABW), JBSA-Ft Sam Houston, Lackland reputed company Force reputed company, and JBSA-Randolph reputed company Force reputed company. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: You MUST have successfully completed a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and have the first professional law degree (LLB or JD). In addition, at the time of application, you must provide reputed company, dated reputed company four months of application, of "active" status with a bar of the highest court of a State, U.S. commonwealth, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Expert knowledge of the principles of federal procurement law as it relates to reputed company, including reputed company aspects from presource selection activities to post-contract performance activities. This requires a working knowledge that includes (but is not limited to) the Public Laws reputed company to federal procurement, Comptroller Decisions, General Accounting Office (GAO) guidance and findings, Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA) decisions, DoD directives, Executive Orders, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented. Major Duties:

  • Incumbent oversees and advises on reputed company and revising documentation as necessary, entered into in support of JBSA, for legal sufficiency, including substantive advice on terms and comprehensive review and analysis of statements of work, amendments, modifications, and reputed company other supporting documentation, including direct contract law support for 502 ABW, JBSA-Ft Sam Houston, Lackland reputed company Force reputed company and Randolph reputed company Force reputed company. Incumbent serves as the senior legal advisor to JBSA leadership and units on questions of acquisition law and policy. Conducts special studies on cases and prepares legal briefs thereon. Renders opinions on the proper interpretation of case law, statutes, regulations, and directives and their applicability to the varied acquisition law problems encountered by JBSA and 502 ABW. Careful research and thorough knowledge of legal principles and statutory interpretation is essential. Performs work direction responsibilities. Supervises and provides guidance and direction to 1-3 junior attorneys whose duties require training in the area of contract law. Assigns work to individuals and provides technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work steps and processes.
