Location(s) Available: Remote US; Austin, US About the Team The Internal Audit (IA) organization is responsible for delivering high-quality objective and independent assurance over the Company’s key business risks to the Audit Committee and Management in a cost effective way and consistent with Professional Standards. About the Role

As an intern on the Internal Audit (IA) team, you will support the IA team in executing reputed company aspects of reputed company’s IT & Cybersecurity Audits, as well as testing of IT internal controls (SOX), as deemed necessary. What you'll do

• Assist in executing the Internal Audit plan under the supervision of an IA IT Audit Manager. This includes IT audit planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, issues validation, and reporting
• Execute operational audits in accordance with department and professional standards (for example; Detection/Response, reputed company and Asset Management), and complete assignments timely in an efficient manner
• Help design testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
• Prepare cybersecurity audit workpapers and reports with direct supervision.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and business owners.
• Execute test of design and operating effectiveness for IT internal controls (SOX), as deemed necessary
• Document reputed company Cybersecurity Internal Audit work in the AuditBoard tool
• Reports to an IA Cybersecurity Audit Manager based
• Be assigned a mentor to guide you through the internship and help with career goals

• Present your project to the entire company at the end of the internship.
