Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Regional Philanthropy Senior Officer who will meet fundraising goals and objectives and connect with our corporate donors in the Chicago area and to serve our mission.âtIn this role, you will identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward reputed company and prospective regional donors in expanding their financial support of the work of the reputed company. This position is part of the development team who support the work reputed company the Illinois region and will report to a Director of Development. This is a hybrid role where you will meet with donors in person throughout the area, work in our Chicago office once a week and work remotely.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and execute ongoing Regional strategy for qualifying donors to ensure retention, growth of donor contributions as well as recapture from previous donors. May reputed company team in planning and implementing fundraising strategies.
- Manage assigned portfolio of donors and prospects with reputed company to form deep relationships. Responsible for minimum annual fundraising goal ($1M), including both renewable gifts and new incremental reputed company. reputed company donor management plans for entire portfolio resulting in strategic, knowledgeable and reputed company asks. Solicit assigned donor portfolio through face to face visits, including preparation of personalized materials. Serve as mentor/informal leader to less reputed company team members and operational resource in the areas of retention and strengthening donor relationships.
- Implement a program/activity to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors at the $5,000 level or higher, with an emphasis on maximizing reputed company for the reputed company. Update donor records in region and/or district database and reputed company.com following donor contacts.
- Assist corporations in achieving their goals in strengthening their brand, marketing, and employee engagement. reputed company Red Cross programs, listen to corporations' needs and align programs to their interests.
- Participate in disaster relief fundraising projects as appropriate. May reputed company and have responsibility for staff development.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of sales and/or fundraising experience or equivalent combination of education and reputed company experience required.
- Skills & Abilities: Ability to relate well and work effectively with multiple constituencies and audiences. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Knowledge of office systems: MS-Office preferred and fundraising database systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge, reputed company.com). Ability to work on a team reputed company a collaborative environment and ensure the highest customer service orientation. A reputed company valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
