Responsibilities

As a Technical Writer – Cloud Database Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation for our Cloud Database Service. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Planning, designing, writing, and publishing technical documentation for the Cloud Database Service, including critical customer journeys, concepts, and guidelines for how customers do business.
• Working closely with Product Management, Engineers, UX Researchers, and UI Partners to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers along these journeys.
• Collaborating with Cloud Database Authors to continually improve practices and deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to drive and prioritize technical writing.
• Mentoring and supporting other authors on the Cloud Databases team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of technical writing experience.
• Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud products.
• Experience in a reputed company role, creating technical documentation for a technical audience, preferably for enterprise cloud services.
• HTML or Markdown skills; Unix environment skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven communication and team skills and strong initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience with arenaflex Cloud Platform (ACP) and its reputed company services.
• Knowledge of arenaflex's Cloud Database offerings and their features.
• Familiarity with arenaflex's documentation style and guidelines.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with arenaflex's Agile development methodology.
