Job title: Bilingual Spanish Social Work Clinician - Child-Adolescent Behavioral Health Home-Based Crisis Intervention Program Company: NewYork-Presbyterian Job description: Location New York, New York Shift: Day (United States of America) Description: Discover Where Amazing Works Social Worker Bi-Lingual Spanish Child/Adolescent Crisis Intervention Behavioral Health CHONY The Morgan Stanley Childrenâ??s Hospital of NY Presbyterian/ Columbia University Irving Medical Center Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Home Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) program is an Office of Mental Health (OMH) funded program that renders short term intensive in home services to youth ages 5-17 predominantly in the areas of Washington Heights, Inwood, and West Harlem, with the goal of preventing psychiatric emergency room visits and psychiatric inpatient admissions. Currently, the program operates from a hybrid virtual and in person model and implements adapted evidence based treatments. The Social Worker will deliver treatment within a hybrid model that integrates virtual telehealth visits and in person community visits that take place in homes, schools, the community, or hospital in response to changing public health safety measures. The position responsibilities entail but are not limited to: delivery of evidence based treatments virtually and in home with goal of 2-3 visits per week per patient, care coordination with all relevant service providers, and treatment planning. As part of varied responsibilities, clinicians will also be expected to deliver care in other community based settings aside from the home, including schools. There can also be opportunities for teaching with trainees.   Supervision and routine clinical check-ins are an integral component of HBCI work.   This is a Grant Funded 1199 position Preferred Criteria: Bi-Lingual Spanish LCSW Experience with child behavioral health Experience with crisis management and trauma Required Criteria: Masterâ??s Degree in Social Work (MSW) New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) If a new graduate Social Worker, Limited Permit (must supply exam date prior to start of employment) If a new graduate Social Worker, must have Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) by the State of New York within 1 year of hire Self motivated Team oriented Able to travel to clients homes and alternative community setting Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
