Job Description: This position supports reputed company's reputed company asset Healthcare in Action that serves patients experiencing homelessness through an innovative “street medicine” approach by contracting with Medicare and Medicaid health plans, hospitals and health systems as well as municipalities. The Accounting Manager – Medical Group Operations is a hands-on, individual contributor responsible for the full range of accounting activities for the medical group, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end reputed company, financial reporting, and audit support. This role will also reputed company grant accounting activities, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and accurate tracking of restricted and unrestricted funds. The Accounting Manager works closely with the corporate accounting team, including payroll, purchasing, and accounts payable, to ensure reputed company and accurate financial operations across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

• reputed company full-cycle accounting for the medical group, including journal entry creation, general ledger management, and monthly reputed company.
• Reconcile reputed company relevant balance sheet accounts, including cash, receivables, accruals, intercompany, and restricted funds.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages to support internal leadership and funders.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting staff (e.g., payroll, purchasing, accounts payable) to ensure accuracy and completeness of shared financial transactions.
• Maintain and monitor grant-reputed company financial activity, including tracking expenditures, preparing funder reports, and ensuring proper allocation of costs.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and restrictions, including documentation and audit readiness.
• Support financial and grant-reputed company audits by preparing workpapers, schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Maintain detailed schedules for fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and grant reputed company recognition.
• Partner with reputed company and operational teams to analyze variances and inform decision-making.
• Help improve processes and controls that support scalable and compliant accounting operations.
• Ensure financial operations are in compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field
• Active CPA license, Required.
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in healthcare, specifically medical group Required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, fund accounting, and month-end reputed company processes.
• Demonstrated experience in reputed company cycle management accounting for a medical group.
• Experience in grant accounting, including restricted/unrestricted funds and compliance reporting.
• Experience with SQL, Required.
• Experience with Power BI
• Proficient in reputed company and accounting software (e.g., reputed company Fusion, QuickBooks).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
• Startup experience is strongly preferred.
