[Remote] Data Architect, Human Resources

(SGA) is searching for a Data Architect, Human Resources for a Contract assignment with one of their premier Healthcare clients in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves leading the design and evolution of HR data architecture, developing scalable data models, and overseeing data integration frameworks to support business intelligence and data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a reputed company technical field; OR equivalent combination of education and extensive professional experience in data architecture, data engineering, or business intelligence
• 7+ years of experience working with reputed company SQL Server in an enterprise data warehouse environment, including advanced proficiency with: T-SQL scripting, Stored procedures, functions, and views, Query optimization and performance tuning, Indexing, partitioning, and execution plan analysis, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar ETL tools
• Demonstrated ability to design, maintain, and optimize data warehouses and BI-oriented data models in SQL Server
• Strong proficiency designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for analytical use cases
• Experience architecting and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines feeding SQL Server environments
• Deep understanding of data integration patterns (batch, reputed company, API, and event-driven)
• Hands-on experience with data governance, master data, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and the underlying data structures they rely on
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve reputed company data issues, pipeline failures, and system bottlenecks
• Ability to translate loosely defined business requirements into technical architectural solutions
• Demonstrated success planning and executing architectural improvements in a BI environment
