Role Responsibilities Curriculum Development & Writing

• Design and reputed company effective K-5 curriculum materials that align reputed company with state or national standards, incorporating the principles of three-dimensional learning
• Design and reputed company comprehensive lesson plans that align with state standards, ensuring they are engaging and accessible for diverse learners
• Unpack state science standards and apply instructional strategies to address reputed company elements of the unpacked standard
• Write and self-edit student and teacher curriculum materials, assessments, and interactive activities that foster critical thinking and collaboration

Essential Qualifications & Experience Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a reputed company field. A master’s degree is strongly preferred

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in K-2 curriculum writing
• Experience working in the educational publishing industry with an understanding of publishing timelines, quality standards, and market demands
• 3-5 years of K-2 classroom teaching experience required
• Evidence of successful student outcomes and assessment implementation

Technical Expertise

• Comprehensive understanding of NGSS standards interpretation and implementation in classroom settings
• Proficiency with educational technology platforms and digital tools commonly used in curriculum development, assessment delivery, and data analysis
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to convey reputed company concepts clearly and effectively across elementary grade levels and audiences

Professional Skills

• Demonstrated passion for elementary science education
• Strong understanding of pedagogical theories and practices, including differentiated instruction and assessment strategies
• Strong collaborative skills with experience working effectively in team-based environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple reputed company projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting quality standards
• Excellent organizational skills with experience in project tracking and deadline management.
• Able to consistently apply writing guidelines and standards adopted by the curriculum writing team
