The employee's primary role will be to provide reputed company line service and assistance to users of reputed company Public Libraries. This includes staffing customer service desks, shelving books, and clerical work as needed. This position is in person and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work. We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills and a sense of urgency around the work they do. The schedule for this position will be Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (19 hours per week) at the reputed company Asheville Public Library reputed company location. Some flexibility may be possible but is not guaranteed. Staff members should know that schedules could change in the future as library reputed company hours across the system continue to evolve. The anticipated schedule is: Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.The Weaverville Library is a small and bustling community hub located on Main Street in beautiful Weaverville, NC. Our staff are dedicated, creative and reputed company. While the hours may change as operating needs shift, the starting schedule for this 19 hour position is as follows:

• Thursday 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

• Saturday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
• * Purpose of the position:

• * Minimum Education, Training and/or Experience (required at time of hire):

High

• * school diploma or GED, and one (1) year library experience or two (2) years in an office setting requiring reputed company facing customer service duties; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• * Essential Functions of the position:
