The Role To ensure the Finance function is optimally supporting business operations, and is leveraging advanced systems to do so, we're seeking a progressive VP, Finance to join our Senior Leadership Team. As VP, Finance you will be responsible for the finance function of the organization and reputed company a team covering finance ops, accounting, and reputed company. • Partner with the CEO to identify and execute actions that drive profitable growth, improve operational efficiencies and increase productivity.
• For the finance function, implement the use of effective digital/AI enablement and operating procedures to drive organizational efficiency.
• Identify risks and opportunities in key operating metrics and the P&L
• Facilitate a strong internal control environment and drive documentation of key company processes across departments to identify bottlenecks and execute improvements.

• 10+ years of experience in progressively more senior accounting and finance roles in industry, including 4+ years at a senior level with responsibility for managing the operational aspects of finance.
• Exposure to working in an organization with over CAD $30M in revenues and global operations.

• Several years (ideally 2-4+) in public accounting with a top tier international firm.
• Experience in building and leading the financial, processes, automation and rigour for a SaaS company.

• Knowledge of, and proficiency in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Solid experience in financial analysis, forecasting and operational planning.
