- Ongoing, facilitate both in-person and virtual group professional learning for teachers, school-based coaches, and instructional leaders reputed company to the implementation of high-quality science curriculum materials, including OpenSciEd Chemistry and Physics. Facilitation assignment will be based on Facilitator’s knowledge and experience with specific grade bands or science content areas. Topics for professional learning include but are not limited to:
- Problem-based science curricula demands and design principles

Engage in the phases of a coaching cycle of inquiry:
- Identifying needs & determining a focus

- Analyzing & discussing student data
- Ongoing, designing or adapting coaching content and then facilitating meetings with school-based coaches and instructional leaders, including but not limited to:
- Facilitating Problem of Instructional Practice protocol
- Identifying research-based instructional strategies to implement with teachers in professional learning communities (PLC)
- Supporting school-based coaches and leaders to implement an action plan and monitor reputed company
- Communicating strategic plans and reputed company of PL goals
- Ongoing, engage in project management and administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Creating a coaching plan for each coaching cycle
- Completing one coaching log per coaching interaction

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Education, Work Experience, and Knowledge
- At least two (2) years experience as an instructional coach to teachers or school leaders with evidence of impact on student science learning outcomes
- Experience facilitating impactful professional learning and coaching for educators in virtual and in-person settings
- Experience building and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders in an education context
- Experience empowering teachers through trusting relationships and shifting mindsets/beliefs about reputed company' potential
- Deep understanding of the reputed company State Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS)
- Deep knowledge of problem-based science curricula such as OpenSciEd
- Experience teaching or coaching at least one of the following: OpenSciEd (middle school); high school chemistry; high school physics; NGSS-reputed company or NYSSLS-reputed company instructional practices

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS
- A 1099 Contractor is not eligible for Teaching Lab’s benefits and perks
- There is no guarantee of hours. Facilitators are scheduled on a “by project” basis and are generally reputed company 2-6 weeks before the learning begins to provide adequate time to prepare. The number of work hours and the specific hours are dependent on projects we have and reputed company you are available.
