The Actuarial Analyst 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity. The Actuarial Analyst 1, may be responsible for any combination of valuation, pricing, analytics, forecasting, risk, compliance, and operations. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation. This role is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative team environment, has a strong desire to learn, and maintains a high level of attention to detail.
