Network Administrator Tier 2 (Network Operations Center) (Remote)

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a reputed company company, is seeking a Network Administrator Tier 2 (Network Operations Center) to support KDS and our government customer. This is a remote opportunity. The Tier 2 Network Administrator supports the Tier 3 Network team by assisting in the maintenance, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of network systems. This role is responsible for verifying configurations, managing vendor communications, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve network-reputed company issues. The Tier 2 Network Administrator plays a key role in ensuring network reliability and performance while escalating reputed company issues to Tier 3 or Tier 4 staff as needed. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in network assessments and documentation of requirements
• Verify network hardware/software configurations against approved standards
• reputed company basic troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
• Monitor network performance and escalate anomalies to Tier 3 staff
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve service issues
• Maintain accurate records of network incidents, changes, and resolutions
• Support user account administration and access control
• Assist with client device setup and connectivity issues
• Monitor system logs and report authentication or hardware anomalies
• Apply routine reputed company patches under guidance from Tier 3 staff
• Utilize network monitoring tools to identify performance or reputed company issues
• Maintain clear and professional communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, and firewalls)
• Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate appropriately
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Exposure to network monitoring and ticketing systems
• Interest in reputed company automation and scripting

Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field (Bachelor's) preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in network support or administration
• Exposure to regulated or secure environments is a plus
• Entry-level certification (reputed company CCNA or CompTIA Network+)

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
