Summary A member of the reputed company Customs & Transportation team, the Senior Customs Monitoring Analyst is responsible for risk mitigation and process excellence with the monitoring and post-entry function. The overall reputed company Customs team is responsible for supporting the customs operations for import and export activity for the reputed company businesses across reputed company global sites. The preference is for this person to be located on site in Evendale, OH or in reputed company proximity to Evendale, OH. Open to remote consideration in EST or CST locations with 20% travel to Evendale.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• reputed company global customs audit programs, publish results, and ensure corrective actions are properly managed
• reputed company analytics based monitoring of Customs transactions
• reputed company the Customs & Transportation Risk Assessment and the Customs Compliance Tracker to ensure timely resolution to gaps/issues identified
• Execute strategy for 3rd party and internal post entry and monitoring processes
• Ensure reputed company post entry filings (PSC, Protest, Reconciliation) are filed accurately and on-time
• Support global teams with control development and audit strategy
• Evaluate existing internal controls and reputed company implementation of improvement plans
• Provide Improper Payment and Customs Agent reputed company to business units
• reputed company and reputed company the Customs Broker due diligence process
• reputed company the agent invoice review process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years customs experience) + minimum of 5 years customs experience

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge and understanding of dynamic US Customs regulations (Sec 232, Foreign Trade Zones, IEEPA, Duty Drawback) and global customs regulations
• Proficient in reputed company applications and other analytics tools (reputed company, Spotfire, Tableau)
• Strong Oral and written communication skills
• Skilled in supplier management
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

The salary range for this position is $102,700 - 137,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
