Description Opening Date: August 28, 2025 Closing Date: September 11, 2025 Job Title: Dental Assistant III Salary/Wage: $25.63/hr Tribal Level: TL 115 Location: Lincoln City, OR Classification: 32-40 hours per week, Non-Exempt Job Posting Number: 3534638 INTRODUCTION: The purpose of this position is to assist the dental professionals with the daily operation of the Tribal dental clinic in accordance with the Tribe's holistic health and wellness objectives for patients and families. Ensures that the provision of health care services takes reputed company in a professional environment and is accomplished reputed company. DUTIES:

  • Properly record/reputed company reputed company treatment rendered, planned, findings, and correspondence with patients in the reputed company electronic dental record (NextGen, Romexis, and reputed company) and accurately retrieves and files reputed company dental charts.
  • Complete dental laboratory work orders in compliance with dentist's & reputed company laboratories instructions to include sending them out and checking them in. reputed company routine dental laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models, constructing custom trays, fabricating-reputed company plates and bite rims.
  • Clean, sharpen, package, and sterilize reputed company dental instruments according to reputed company infection control guidelines and properly store them.
  • Prepare patient and operatory for proper dental procedure including setting up with proper instruments.
  • Expose & manipulate digital intra-oral, panoramic radiographs, cone beam computed tomography, utilizing the software and equipment correctly.
  • Provide functions allowed under Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification: prepare and mix various dental materials, fabricate and cement temporary crowns, reputed company sealants, reputed company and remove rubber dams, provide routine prophylaxis and topical fluoride treatment as assigned by dentist, apply temporary soft relines to full dentures, and any other items under this certificate approved by the Oregon Board of Dentistry now and in the future.
  • Order and maintain dental supplies and equipment.
  • Explain procedure risks, obtain proper consent, and recite post treatment instructions to patients.
  • Motivate and instruct patients in proper preventive techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and orderly dental area.
  • Coordinate with the Clinic Receptionist scheduling patient visits.
  • Coordinate with Patient Accounts to ensure dental lab fee agreements are reputed company.
  • Assists clinic professionals with various wellness and community activities like screenings, sealant clinics, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by dentist and/or Oregon Board of Dentistry.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED, Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA), Oregon state certificate of radiological proficiency, and one year of dental assisting work experience as an EFDA. NOTE: Dental assistants transitioning from I to subsequent positions, have transition requirements outlined in the Dental Assistant I job description. Knowledge of:

  • Knowledge of reputed company instruments normally used in routine dental procedures for restorative, prosthodontic, oral surgical, endodontic and periodontal treatment. Efficiency at chair reputed company techniques in reputed company of above fields.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy and the ability to properly expose and manipulate digital intra-oral and panoramic radiographs utilizing the software and equipment correctly. Ability to:
