We have a need for a self-motivated, results driven Manufacturing Engineer to join reputed company in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Our Manufacturing Engineers provide the Operations team with technical support, reputed company manufacturing process layouts as well as tool and fixture designs, and ensure that reputed company production methodology meets customer requirements, productivity, and quality expectations. Additionally, a Kamatics Manufacturing Engineer conducts product development projects reputed company designated cost, quality, and time lines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine methodology; provide detailed drawings or sketches as guidance for drafting personnel to complete process reputed company. Use knowledge of cutting tool technology, fixture design, machining, and CNC programming techniques, to establish best practices for production. Continuously work with Machinists to improve machining efficiencies. Responsible for the sustainment of standard machining techniques.

• Train Production Engineers (PE) in support of knowledge reputed company growth and development.
• Provide primary support to Value reputed company assigned; train with Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to reputed company capability to support reputed company Value Streams as requested. Provide a high level of service to reputed company internal and external customers; share knowledge and lessons learned. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.
• Act as a troubleshooter for assembly / machining process / manufacturing problems. Resolve problems and work with Applications Engineering, Purchasing, Sales Representatives, Product and Process Suppliers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety and environmental incidents to supervisor.

Qualifications

Education: BS Degree in Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 3-5 years' manufacturing engineering / machine shop experience. Proficiency with Computer Aided Manufacturing programs is essential. Knowledge Essential to the Position:

• Computer Aided Drafting (CAD); Unigraphics (Solid Modeling) is preferred
• Tool knowledge and design fixtures
• ISO procedures

• Frequent grasping items and tools
• Frequent mental and visual attention
• Continual standing

Other:

• Will be required to work overtime and weekends to meet customer needs
