As a Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of accounting and reporting for our Belgian entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to greater financial transparency across Europe. We embrace a remote-first culture, with quarterly meetups to stay connected and collaborative. Your impact
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for EPI’s Belgian entities, including invoices, expenses, VAT, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly closings and financial statements under Belgian GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support regulatory and statistical reporting to the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) and other authorities
- Produce management reporting packs and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
- Coordinate payroll accounting and ensure timely tax and VAT filings
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to maintain robust internal controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency and reliability across finance operations
Technology stack

To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements
- +5 years of hands-on experience in accounting or financial control reputed company Belgian entities
- Proven track record in preparing financial statements under Belgian GAAP and managing month-end closings
- Experience in a reputed company, providing strong technical foundations and rigor; exposure to banking or payments industry and regulatory or NBB reporting
- Strong analytical reputed company, attention to detail, and clear communication with stakeholders
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus
