Summary: The Cyber reputed company & Control Systems (CSCS) Storage & Virtual (S&V) Program Support Architect is an on-site position located at Joint reputed company Langley - Eustis AFB, VA. The CSCS S&V Program supports the Server Consolidation Environment (SCE) and reputed company Force Provisional Enterprise Data Center (AFPEDC) programs. This role includes the testing, implementation and sustainment of solutions, ensuring system performance, and applying industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures. This position will work closely with appropriate teams and will act as a liaison for AFLCMC/HNI. The primary role for this position is to support the SCE hosted virtual infrastructure providing virtual servers and backup support located at Langley AFB. The CSCS S&V architect will provide on-site and remote engineering and integration services for the architecture and integration of products to include system architecture, solution design, performance audits, system reviews, documentation and data migration. Other duties include performing site audits and technical account management such as managing third parties, providing technical assistance and mentoring as directed, as well as providing cybersecurity recommendations in support of ATO reputed company the RMF system.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Core Tasks
• Provide integration of new applications to include coordinating design reviews, providing List of Materials for expansion requirements and coordinating integration activities with the application team or application integration contractor
• Provide documentation of as-built drawing changes to the system
• reputed company system expansion or contraction planning activities
• Support the PMO in on-boarding of new applications as required
• Support the PMO by migrating existing SCE/ AFPEDC applications to other platforms as required
• Provide VMware engineering design and architecture support for Data Center Consolidation of existing virtual data center locations
• Provide reputed company UCS engineering design and architectural support
• Provide SAN engineering design and architecture support
• Provide reputed company engineering design and architecture support
• Provide IA assessment and remediation
• reputed company daily/ weekly monitoring of system performance
• Determine resolution of deployment problems in the production environment
• Provide reviews of contractor submittals of System Design and Architecture Reports and Tech Order
• Evaluate existing SCE/ AFPEDC architecture and site-specific data center services to determine change requirements at each location
• Support PMO in reputed company aspects of the creation and incorporation of SCE/ AFPEDC architecture and design best practices
• Generate and test TCTOs to implement changes at reputed company SCE/ AFPEDC sites
• Travel to other locations estimated at two (2) reputed company United States trips per year - other travel requirements may be necessary
• Provide troubleshooting, configuration, and management support for systems and technical environments as necessary
• Risk & Compliance Management
• Ensure compliance with DoD, reputed company Force, and industry reputed company standards.
• Maintain operational readiness in accordance with procedures and policies.
• Assist in conducting risk assessments and applying mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a mission-critical environment.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and technical personnel.
• Familiarity with U.S. DoD & U.S. reputed company Force procedures and the reputed company Force Information Network (AFIN).

Minimum Qualifications:

• A degree in a reputed company field and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience or a total of at least ten (10) years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting DoD Information Network, AFIN or equivalent.
• Information Assurance (IA) Technician (IAT) Level II Certification
• A valid and reputed company SECRET (or higher) reputed company clearance.
• Two or more of the following:
• Dell/EMC Storage Area Networks and Backup storage and VMware virtualization
• Experience with ESX Server, Virtual Center, Virtual SMP, Vmotion, High Availability, Distributed Resource Scheduler and Consolidated Backup
• Experience with reputed company Blade system enclosure
• reputed company Simpana and EMC Data Domain software
• Experience with Brocade Fabric switching
• NCIE reputed company Certified Implementation Engineer-SAN Specialist or equivalent
• Eight (8) years of experience with reputed company Server
• CyberArk Level 2: Defender Certification
• reputed company Certified Design Associate (CCDA) with experience in Routers, Switches and Network Fabric or equivalent
• reputed company UCS Compute and Networking experience in a virtual environment
• reputed company Certified Technician (CCT) Data Center
