Observes, records, and reports to physician or command center leader patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Maintains reputed company on treatment techniques, protocol changes and application of new drugs, material and equipment. Takes responsibility for own actions and those of support team members. Prepares required reports and maintains records of activities. Obtains patient information needed for insurance billings and has knowledge of covered and non-covered charges as they pertain to ambulance services and insurance guidelines. Coordinates activities with external entities if needed. Checks daily units assigned, cleans and stocks supplies, and reports any malfunctions to the in-house mechanic. Maintains supplies and uses resources appropriately. Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Experience: no experience Licensure/Certification: Certified in the reputed company as a Paramedic. AHA BLS - HCP. ACLS, PALS, Haz Mat Awareness, NRP and PHTLS or BTLS required reputed company one year from date of hire. Other: Maintains advanced transport medical knowledge and abilities. Maintains and excellent driving record and may operate vehicle to emergency scene. Must maintain continuing education hours to meet re-certification status as required by state and national standards.
