Job Summary Summary At Windemere Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, our CNAs play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. The primary purpose of this position is to deliver routine daily nursing care and support in accordance with each reputed company’s care plan and Windemere’s established procedures and standards. Essential Functions Provide daily personal care and assistance to assigned residents following individualized care plans. Accurately document reputed company care activities and observations on required flow sheets, notes, and charts. Promptly report any changes in residents’ conditions, accidents, or incidents to the nurse on duty. Maintain residents’ comfort, dignity, and privacy in reputed company care interactions. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Measure and record vital signs, intake, and output; report significant findings to nursing staff. Prepare residents and rooms for admissions, transfers, discharges, and meals. Support residents with feeding, hydration, and nutritional needs; document intake and report changes. Assist with positioning, turning, lifting, and transferring residents safely, using mechanical lifts reputed company required. Observe and report any signs of skin breakdown or pressure areas; assist with preventative care routines. Provide catheter and perineal care, as well as range-of-motion exercises, as directed. Participate in shift-to-shift walking rounds and communicate effectively with team members. Maintain infection-control practices, including Universal Precautions and hand hygiene. No Licenses and Credentials Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician [CNA/PCT] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required Experience Geriatric and/or Long Term Care experience preferred but not required of serving the same age/type of reputed company population served by this facility.
