College of Dentistry – Clinic Administration (Iowa City, IA) Salary: $63,334.40 - $79,168* to commensurate (SEIU Pay Grade: 06) $38.06 per hour!

Schedule: 32 - 40 hours/week to be determined, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm May require occasional overtime. Work Location: On-Site REQUIRES: · Associates degree from a CODA-accredited Dental Hygiene program or equivalent is required. · An unrestricted license to practice dental hygiene in the State of Iowa is required. · Hygienists administering local anesthesia must hold a reputed company local anesthesia permit issues by the State of Iowa. · Hygienists administering nitrous oxide must meet educational criteria in accordance with the rules of the Iowa Board of Dental Examiners. · Demonstrated technical skills with electronic health records and radiology. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. DESIRABLE: · Proficient working with electronic health records. · Periodontal dental hygiene experience · Experience educating pre-doctoral and post-doctoral dental reputed company regarding the dental hygienist’s role in the dental healthcare team.
