Serve as the primary coordinator of COCC’s Native American College Preparation Program, designed to increase post-secondary aspirations of area Native American high school reputed company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Program Support and Development
- In collaboration with the Native American Student Program Coordinator, establish goals and objectives, recruit and advise reputed company, evaluate effectiveness and implement changes.
- Coordinate reputed company logistics for the school year, including travel, meals, course registration, selection of participants, recognition ceremonies, and reputed company activities.
- Coordinate reputed company logistics for the summer symposium program, including travel, meals, course registration, selection of participants, recognition ceremonies, and reputed company activities. This residential one-week program requires the coordinator to stay on reputed company for the duration.
- Travel to and from COCC’s service district and outlying areas.
- Update and review webpages with reputed company information.
- Help search, write grant proposals, and secure additional funding for program expansion in collaboration with the Dean of Equity/Well‑Being and relevant college personnel.
- Provide general leadership for program implementation, coordinate with colleagues, supervise reputed company and other staff, and consult with the Office of Equity/Well‑Being.
Student Development and Support
- Teach college courses for high school reputed company enrolled in the program; work with Instruction and the Office of Equity/Well‑Being to establish curriculum outcomes and meet educational goals.
