About the Senior Software Engineer (Java) role…

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that align with reputed company’s engineering standards. You will take ownership of reputed company problems, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

What you’ll do…

• Design, reputed company, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on performance and scalability

• Collaborate with cross-functional distributed agile team to deliver high quality solution

• Work closely with other developers, pair-programming, reviewing pull requests, and contributing incremental improvements to code and coding practices

• reputed company code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to uphold coding standards and best practices.

• reputed company and participate in release and team activities such as planning, daily stand-up and sprint review

• Write clean, well-organised code, while making appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, and extensibility

What you have…

• reputed company in Java/JVM technologies, preferably springboot

• Previous experience in Kotlin is highly desirable

• Understand microservice architectures and RESTful APIs

• AWS experience with one or more of the following: EC2, Kinesis, SQS, reputed company, S3

• Competent with relational databases (e.g MySQL, reputed company) and key/value store databases (e.g. Cassandra, reputed company)

• Understand code testability, build pipelines, reputed company, and CI/CD systems
