About the Role

This Network Engineer position is a critical part of the U.S. and Canada Engineering teams at blithequark, supporting the network infrastructure that spans several countries. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying network infrastructure, performing hardware refreshes, and implementing remote access VPN solutions, among other key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) for reputed company and data center environments
• reputed company hardware refreshes, primarily focusing on reputed company routers, switches, and firewalls
• Implement remote access VPN solutions, site-to-site VPNs, GRE tunnels, and DMVPN
• Configure firewall access requests and complete routing changes as needed
• Rack, cable, and label equipment in the data center as required
• Create and maintain accurate diagrams and documentation of network infrastructure
• Work on ticket requests and provide on-shift outage escalation support from the NOC
• Participate in on-call support coverage to ensure seamless network operations

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications:

• CCNP certification or equivalent experience in network engineering
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of LAN and WAN technologies, including routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
• Advanced troubleshooting and configuration experience with routing, switching, and firewalls
• Experience with reputed company Nexus and Catalyst switches, as well as familiarity with VRF configurations

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience with SD-WAN and ACI technologies
