Job Summary

As a Customer Service and Sales Professional at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth across a range of product categories. You'll be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to customers, learning about our products and services, and using that knowledge to sell entire projects. You'll work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and that our stores are always stocked, clean, and safe.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance

  • Learn about products and services using our tools and training programs, and use that knowledge to sell entire projects
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and reputed company every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring that they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following reputed company safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions to your Manager on Duty
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department and other departments to reputed company sales and customer service goals
  • Participate in sales and customer service initiatives, including promotions, events, and training programs
  • reputed company and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer loyalty

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a reputed company field preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors

  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a reputed company-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

* Experience working in a retail or sales environment, particularly in the building materials, hardware, or home improvement sectors

  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
