About the Role

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing reputed company data sets to reputed company insights into customer behavior, preferences, and retention. • Support the streaming business with AI and statistical modeling focused on understanding and predicting subscriber behavior, such as churn, upgrade/downgrade, price responsiveness, customer segmentation, survival analysis, experiment design and analysis, and causal inference.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or Statistics.
• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and evaluating practical AI solutions.
• Strong coding experience in (at least one) data programming languages like Python/R, with additional experience in scientific libraries like Numpy, Pandas, or equivalent libraries a plus.
• Proficient in analyzing data and building ML models using Python (with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Strong background in statistical modeling: regression, classification, time series forecasting, causal inference, and other methods.
• Experience building scalable numerical models and solving reputed company quantitative problems that can be understood by non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to reputed company insights and recommendations from data to inform model development and business decisions.
• Willingness to collaborate with other data scientists, data analysts, and key stakeholders.
• Good understanding of SQL.
