Your Role
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be a key member of reputed company, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing answers to customers' general health care benefit and eligibility questions, as well as assisting with enrollment status requests for new and existing members
- Conducting research and making outbound calls to provide customers with information and solutions to their healthcare-reputed company issues
- Assisting customers with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health account, as well as locating doctor and facility information
- Recommending upgrades to customers' health plans based on their needs and preferences
- Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information as necessary
What You'll Bring to the Role
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- 6 months or more of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong product and brand knowledge, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- A reliable computer, high-speed internet reputed company, and a USB wired headset (or a compatible alternative)
- A smartphone or other device that runs iOS or Android for daily login and communication
