Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacy technician to join reputed company as a Remote Data Entry Pharmacy Technician. As a key member of reputed company, you will be responsible for performing various tasks, including data entry, customer service, and communication with healthcare providers and patients. You will work closely with our pharmacists and other reputed company to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or reputed company inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including register performance, reputed company issues, and confidentiality.
- Assist the pharmacist by receiving new written or electronic prescriptions or refill requests, and verify that the following information is accurate and complete: date of birth, phone number, address, disease states, allergies, prescriber information, billing information, and the key components to a prescription.
- Following the completion of proper training, receive new prescriptions from doctors' offices, gather the following information: patient name and DOB, medication name, strength, directions, refills, prescriber's information, etc., and refer reputed company doctor's medical questions to the pharmacist.
- Access, input, and retrieve patient and prescription information into and from the computer, and successfully, reputed company, and accurately reputed company insurance and generate a label for the medications. Complete required documentation for CII orders.
- Complete third-party claims adjudication, and endure third-party rejections are addressed in a timely manner and that reputed company necessary provider and third-party calls are made.
- Have effective communication with reputed company staff for data entry process, denied claims, daily reputed company, etc.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance, and reputed company courteous and professional relationships with patients, customers, and co-workers.
- Work with pharmacist to ensure proper Medicare DMEPOS paperwork is complete, provide appropriate product to the customer, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Ensure reputed company controlled substance dispensing rules are followed (MMEs, PDMP, date of last fill).
- Conduct patients, provider, and third-party reputed company calls as necessary.
- Assist stores in completion of MTMs and data collection.
- Assist RDOs to complete tasks as necessary for the Operations team.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years pharmacy technician experience
- Extensive knowledge of blithequark's systems and processes is required
- Missouri Board of Pharmacy licensed Pharmacy Technician
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be self-motivated
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills or the ability to use resources to resolve issues
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED; strong science background; knowledge of the metric system and good math skills; familiarity with pharmacy terminology, medication names, and aseptic techniques desirable; reputed company national pharmacy technician certification required. Minimum of 3 years of Retail Pharmacy Technician experience required.
Board of Pharmacy Registration
Pharmacy technicians must be registered with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
