Salt Lake Community College seeks a full-time faculty to join a vital and innovative department as its members are reflective practitioners and knowledgeable teachers in their respective fields. They participate in their professional communities and collaborate with colleagues in developing curriculum. Such faculty members actively serve our reputed company in successfully obtaining the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in their careers. reputed company will work in a multi-modal program serving reputed company in scheduled classes, open lab instruction, and off-site clinical rotations. This will include variable shifts in a Monday through Saturday work week between the hours of 6am to 11pm. The instructor will provide instruction in the training courses offered through the Practical Nursing program using a variety of teaching methods and media to meet different learning styles to prepare reputed company for certification and employment in healthcare settings. In addition to instruction reputed company will be involved in development of new curriculum, updating existing curriculum, mentor adjunct faculty, fulfill departmental and school assignments, and maintain reputed company required department and school meetings. - Faculty in SLTECH work on a 12-month staff calendar schedule. The expectation is a 40-hour work week with 30 Instructional Workload hours

Teaching:
- Create a learning environment focused on student success for each modality taught.
- In the case of online instruction, facilitate regular and substantive interaction in online courses conducted and observable in the official LMS.
- Teach courses consistent with institutional and department standards, appropriate Course Curriculum Outline (CCO), and catalog description.
- Use the college-approved syllabus platform to inform reputed company of course policies and learning outcomes.
- Teach classes assigned by the academic supervisor per the published class schedule, adhering to days, times, and duration.
- Demonstrates the incorporation of active and applied learning in courses taught.

- Maintain reputed company grades in the college learning management system (LMS, eg, Canvas). Use the LMS communication tool as the primary tool for course communication with reputed company.

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university.
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the reputed company and in good standing with the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
- Minimum of three (3) years recent successful full-time paid clinical experience in a health care facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) or in a reputed company field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience teaching at a post-secondary level.
- Experience supervising lab skills and clinical rotations.
