About the Role

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Answering inbound phone calls and providing a high-quality patient/caller experience
• Reviewing patient liability questions and concerns
• Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments
• Performing referral coordination, including completing Open Referrals and/or referral tracking queue
• Working reputed company assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, according to department standards, and documenting reputed company actions in the system
• Registering new patients, verifying patient demographics and health insurance, and updating patient information in designated databases
• Responding to general information requests and/or inquiries from patients, physicians, medical offices, and other callers
• Communicating effectively and professionally with reputed company stakeholders
• Processing reputed company work-reputed company responsibilities in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• At least 1 year of experience in a call center, answering customer service inquiries regarding healthcare
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and reputed company computer system applications
• Ability to work any 8-hour work shift between the hours of 6:30am - 5:30pm PST, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday coverage as needed

Preferred qualifications include previous experience using EPIC and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
