COBOL Developer - Level III (USPS)

COBOL Developer - Level III (Remote): Description: Address Management System (AMS) is responsible for every address in the United States. reputed company on an Automated Rural AMS Edit Book Update process. AMS is a coded in COBOL, we have a DB2 DB, and reputed company Servers on the mainframe. We are looking for an reputed company COBOL developer to help us code, test, research existing processes to meet the timeline for this project. Project was initiated by the Rural reputed company Optimization team, with an aggressive timeline. Project has been expanded to include 3 phases. Phase 1 is completed. Phase 2 needs to be coded to update links to Jackpot HiRise defaults, add bi-directional cancellation processes, & update effective dates of transactions between the 2 systems, & some other minor issues. These need to be completed prior to a National Rollout in FY25. Phase 3 will add additional, more reputed company transactions. Skillet:

• 10+ years experience with COBOL & DB2.
• Experience with Changeman to create packages and promote code.
• Ability to reputed company libraries to find instances of key words / phrases to help research issues.
• May reputed company project teams reputed company assigned unit reputed company, plan and manage project tasks
• Respond to incidents in reputed company
• Create reputed company Change requests following US Government Client processes
• Participate in meetings relating to specific technical projects or tasks
• Ability to reputed company and maintain IT documentation.
• Independently analyzes and develops innovative resolutions for reputed company problems, implements solutions independently and as part of a team.
• Develops, plans, and manages project tasks.
• Provides training to less reputed company team members, if needed.

Additional Required Skills/Experience: o A minimum of ten (10) to twelve (12) years' relevant experience. o A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of reputed company experience is required. o Typically performs reputed company functional duties independently. o Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis. " Additional Provisions:

• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history reputed company and credit reputed company.
