Key Responsibilities
As an External Support Engineer at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing technical support to content/external teams in regards to use of content tools, ensuring they have the resources and expertise they need to succeed.
- Creating reference materials and providing training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, empowering them to work independently and reputed company.
- Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Escalating more reputed company or problematic issues to the tool development team, working closely with production to track these issues in JIRA and ensure timely resolution.
- Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, using your expertise to drive positive change and reputed company improvement.
- Partnering with other engineers to reputed company tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, bringing together stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to reputed company shared goals.

Essential Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience
While a Computer Science or reputed company degree is preferred, we also welcome candidates with equivalent work experience. If you have:
- Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.

- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, with a strong understanding of agile development methodologies and practices.
- iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a solid foundation in mobile app development principles and practices.
- 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from reputed company, but you'll be expected to be available for meetings and collaborations during our core hours of 10:00am to 6:00pm CST. This means you'll need to be able to work independently and manage your time effectively, with minimal supervision.
